Every volunteer…

Volunteers are needed with the construction and rehabbing of homes in Mason City and the surrounding counties we serve. No experience is necessary, and onsite training will be provided.

We always need help in the ReStore. Tasks might include greeting and assisting shoppers, donation intake, and helping to keep the store and donation processing area organized and clean.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. Consider joining one of our volunteer committees:

I’m standing there and this little four year old boy came up to me – I’m a complete stranger…he’s never seen me before that evening. He grabbed my hand, pulled me down the hallway to show me his room.

And boy…after that, I was hooked! Because THAT’S what it’s about! Providing a family the opportunity to have a home.

As a home builder in North Iowa, I see firsthand the need for safe and affordable housing in our communities. I’m proud to support the mission of Habitat. Volunteering has shown me how much we can accomplish when we come together to support our neighbors. I’m especially excited to participate in the annual “Women Build Day”, introducing area women to the fun of construction.
